How to Measure

Mount Options:
1. Outside/Inside Mount: Suitable for standard windows where both mounting options can work.
2. Outside Mount Only: Required for special window types (e.g., those without deep frames).
3. Inside Mount: Works for windows with sufficient frame depth.

Inside Mount (Installed Within the Window Frame)
Width:
1. Measure the width of the inside of the window frame at three points: top, middle, and bottom.
2. Use the narrowest measurement.
3. Subtract 1/4 inch from this width for the order width.
*Example: If the narrowest width is 36 inches, your order width is 35.75 inches.

Height:
1. Measure the height from the top inside edge to the bottom inside edge of the frame.

Depth:
1. Ensure the window frame depth is at least 2.3 inches to install an inside mount. If less, consider an outside mount.

Outside Mount (Installed Over the Window Frame)
Width:
1. Measure the total width of the window, including the frame or trim if present.
2. Add 4 inches to this measurement for better light control and coverage.
*Example: If the window width is 36 inches, your order width is 40 inches.

Height:
1. Measure the total height from the desired top edge (above the window) to the bottom edge (below the window).
2. Add 4 inches to this height.
*Example: If the window height is 50 inches, your order height is 54 inches.
